Default Hose for ETS 150 Sander

I need a hose for my sander but will use on a vacmaster vacuum bought from Trade Tools. Can I use a festool hose for this? if yes whats the difference with their antistatic and non-antistatic hoses and which do I need?

From what I saw their hoses are frikkin' expensive, is there any decent alternatives too?

You can use other hoses but they just need to have the same reception hole sizes to suite

The anti static reduces the static shocks. We do have a hose from festool which is 27mm x 3.5m non anti static selling for approx $125, if you let us know the size of the reception on the dust extractor end we can see if theres other option for you

    I used a non-festool vac for a long time.

Festool sell as a separate item the conector that fits on the end of your tool, which you can then connect to a vac. With my vac the nozzle that connected was slightly too small in diameter, so I just wrapped a bit of gaffa tape over the nozzle to increase the diameter, from then on it was very snug.

I have since bought a festool vac. Yes it is much quieter, the self start on the machine is a good feature and the anti static is better. But, I think starting out, using an ordinary shop vac is fine. I never really had an issue with the static build up on mine.
