The fence can drift after some use. This can happen with a new machine or a machine getting regular use. After some time the fence holding mechanism has bedded in the lever does not seem to clamp tight any more when fully pushed down to lock. A simple solution is to remove the screw in the middle of the lever, rotate the lever around the hex head underneath, and put the screw back in. The lever will clamp the fence lock mechanism tight again.

I've had to do that with the one down the men's shed - though I put the issue down to heavy handed shedders!

I did a bunch of chairs this week (four) and all the rails use 8x40's... some were out by a friggin heap!

There is a domiplate set here... somewhere... but I like the idea of making a few out of MDF for various jobs.
