    Cool Best repair station?

Ok, decided that I will give the repairs a shot, just don't have $400 plus I really love the model I have already, ok its older & no plug in stuff, I really love the weight, but mainly the performance quality of sanding....took me four years & three previous sanders to find the best one....Yep I believe this is it!
Plus I still have about 200 sanding disc's bulk supply I purchased last woodshow I attended...
so where is the best place to take it.... ??????

No offence but I don't wish to be ripped off. The usually treatment of lady on her own is "well, she wont know lets charge her heaps and add some more on top of that"
I hate to say it but it does happen .....so please where in Perth will they really be genuine & honestly know the product...I can't remembered which woodworking group Ed (my late hubby)purchased it, but I need some help on where to go, and don't tell me the obvious.....!!!
Lady in destress......come on all you knights in shinning armour, step up to the task.. I will be so greatful, I will not slice & dice you and feed you to the dragon....LOL
No, I will accept any information passed on with much gratitude, respectfully, your in sawdust & woodshavings....Kekemo alias Kerry
Don't think you're playing it safe by walking in the middle of the road.....that's the surest way to get hit by traffic coming from both ways!
I'm passionate about woodwork.......making Sawdust again & loving it!

    Hi Kerry,

If you wanted to go to a Festool registered service agent. I don't know them personally, but I understand these two are technically up to scratch. Of course I cannot comment on their 'pricing policies'.

    INDUSTRIAL POWER TOOL SERVICES (IPTS)
    Unit 1/211 Bannister Rd
    Canningvale
    08 9456 3999

    FORWOOD TOOLS
    5 Stanford Way
    Malaga
    08 9209 7400

Alternatively, you can send your tool to Festool themselves in Melbourne. It may even be worth giving them a call (1800 063 900) to see if they can help diagnose the issue and give you a rough idea of the problem and likely costs prior to getting them, one of the above or anyone else to fix it.

    Hi Kekemo,

I use a company called Power Tools and Machinery Sales (PTMS) here in Perth. They sell the Festool products and other brands too. I buy all of my tools through them and don't even bother to ask for their best price. They are very fair and have always given the same advice, pricing etc to my wife that I have got.

    PTMS
    13 Beechboro road South,
    Bayswater WA 6053.
    Ph. 9272 3844

They also have a shop in Bunbury but I do not know their contact details there.

    Cheers,

    Buz.
