Anyone WTB Festool Delta Sand Paper?
Hi guys,
Would anyone be interested in splitting the cost of some Festool Delta sandpaper? I want some for my DTS400 but don't want to buy 100 sheets of a particular grit. It's currently on sale for $63- for 100 sheets in 150, 180, 240, 320 and 400 grit. They also have 40, and 60 grit in 50 packs for $44-. I was thinking of buying 150 or 180, 240 and 400 grit so about $189- but definitely don't need that much at once. If one or two people wanted to split it we could get 50 or 33 sheets of each for $94.50 or $63- each. I could order , split up and ship out via auspost (i'll split the shipping cost which I expect shouldn't be much).
Just throwing it out there in case anyone is keen. Open to different grit options as well. It works out a lot cheaper than buying a 10 pack for $16- and only a couple of grits are available in the 10 packs.
No stress if no one is interested. Maybe it's not worth the hassle.
Cheers, Dom

Without going out into the shed first to check what I have, I would say I am potentially interested.
If you're not in an immediate rush, I would be happy to check what is on my "to buy" list, and post here tomorrow with answers.
Do you know when the sale ends?

I normally go into Just Tools on Clarendon Street in city as they allow you to open the boxes of 100 sheets and purchase as many from that box that you like.
I am not 100% sure if they do it with the delta paper but a phone call will soon tell you...

OK, had a chance to check what is on my want-to-buy list, and I'm not sure how much help this will be:
Granat 400 - I could use up to 20 sheets, I have some already.
Granat 240 - I could use up to 20 sheets, I have some already.
Granat 180 - I need none (note these are available in 10 packs if you need)
Granat 150 - I could use up to 20 sheets, I have some already. No idea why these come only in 100 packs, yet the 180 comes in 100 or 10 pack!
If this helps you get a purchase going, well and good - if not, no drama at my end.
If you can get what you need from Just Tools, go right ahead, I won't be troubled if this doesn't go ahead.
If you have a freight forwarder in the USA, I can point you in directions there (this actually allowed me to get the sheets I have now, like you, this is a second sander for me, and I don't need anywhere near 100 sheets of the finer grits).

Ok I'll wait a little and see if there are any others interested, otherwise I'd still be buying 80 sheets of each. Otherwise 150, 240, 400 would work for me.
Cheers, Dom
