    Hi
    These are not up to the stanard I have seen on this forum but we have have start some where. I did a course with Tony Ward and this is the result. They have already been claimed by the furture DIL'S.
    I have just got my shed and new bandsaw to hopefully I will make some more shortly.
    Please let me know what you think.

    Paul the general standards of this forum arn't that High, they are terrific boxes well done I only wish I could do as well

    An excellent start, Tony has taught you well. I like the finish on these. Did you use flock or felt in the draws, what are the dimensions of the boxes.

    The drawers are flocked and the block sizes are;
    the Hood L 15cms x D 10 x H 18 and the Cave L 16.5 x D 9.5 x H 9.5

    Really nice boxes. I especially like the one with the frame floating inside another frame. Be interested to see how that is attached, and how you cut it on the bandsaw.

    Tony: how about running that course in Adelaide? You can use my shed.
    Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

    Sorry for the delay in replying as I have been away.
    Thanks for the kind words again, the inner box is attached to the outer one by superglue, the entry and exit cuts are one and the same and I was taught to try to use the grain to diguise the cut.
