    Default These are my own

Two of these boxes are Xmas orders, one is Silky Oak the other is Ida (Ida-know) both finished with Estapol. The other box is Olive, the wood coming from root stock below the ground, also finished with Estapol

    Well done, inspirational.

I wonder whether the Ida-know timber is Jacaranda with some spalt growth. My favourite is the Olive, both for design and character of the timber, how dry is it?

Thanks for the comments Tony. The wood is a bit to light for Jacaranda, the most popular guess in the club is one of the poplars.

Good comment ptc, what I used was a brass upholstry nail passed through a white glass bead and attached to the draw front.

Wonderful work, Don. The character on the olive one is something else. Cannot wait to get back at doing these boxes, it has been to long.
    See ya'll later!!!!
