Raindrop Bandsaw Box
Hi all, I managed to drag myself away from the wood lathe after seeing some bandsaw boxes on youtube. Just had to give it a go. This is my second attempt at a bandsaw box, I managed to stick a hidden draw in this one. My 1/4" bandsaw blade doesn't make those tight turns easy, but it sure is a lot of fun. Hope you like it. It measures 9" x 3" high x 2" deep, and it's made up of, not one but two types of crapiata pine.

If you look very carefully at photos three and four, you will see the little hidden draw behind the draw on the right. Cheers

re: Raindrop Bandsaw Box
Very nice work there Torchwood. The box comes up a real treat.
Some people suggest for better effect to round over the edges of drawers and the inside & outside edges of the box - do you intend doing that? And then if you add some flocking to the drawers - you will end up with a great looking bandsawn box.
Keep the good work coming.
Cheers.

I really like the idea of having a hidden drawer inside a box.
