beneath the sea
giday all, just finished this, one background wood is blackwood small fish are silver wattle and pittostpurum little weed bubbles gidgee,big fish robinia,crab mana gum and liquid amber,coral near crab birdseye gum and white box burl,weed fiddle redgum,coral to right of crab waratah and banksia,foreground rocks ancient southern mahogany,coral to right norfolk island hibiscus,back coral osage orange ,finish is cabots carbothane

That's a great looking piece. You've certainly go an assortment of timber in it as well. Did it take long to do?

I don't know if it's the quality of the photography or simply the unbelievable quality of the piece but I recon that's the finest intarsia I ever saw. This baby is going to be my desktop until something else beats it and expect that's going to take a while.

Absolutely awesome Tom You've really hit it with that big fish - he looks ready to jump out of it.
