Hi here's another one from fantastic woodworking called the swaggy I. Used sapele beech walnut and oak and poplar thanks for looking

I'm impressed that you have captured the essence of a swaggy's life in the the fascial expression and the glance of the eyes, that is impressive

Great Work bobman 58......did you get the patterns from the Intarsia Downunder book.......it's a great book with fantastic patterns......
I'd love to try the Motorcyclist.

bobman: The swagman is wonderful.
My first reaction was one of frustration = Where is the rest of him? I need to see all of him, standing against a wall in some room.
I realize that you've got no patterns for a dressed body but you certainly have a good sense for putting the portrait together.
Google scrapartoz who works in scrap metal. Maybe some ideas?

Swaggy Intarsia
G'day Bob, I only just found your latest project, & I have to say Intarsia is definitely your forte. As usual extremely well done. I thought you may like to see my version which I made a couple of year's ago. My bloke was a non smoker & I hope I am not intruding on your post. Regard's Jim.
