AR9 Lathe alignment
I have a MT3 test bar in the Sheraton AR lathe . I have zero runout on the end of the bar but I have a .001" drop along the top of the bar ( vertical plane ) ..drooping downwards towards the tailstock . Is this normal ?
This is a ex Tech school lathe and the kids must have been making something long because the tailstock V way is worn at the far end . I have shimmed the tailstock but it needs a few more thou of shims .
