Arboga EM825 Mill Drill
Hi folks have just aquired one of these. Looking for any advice, literature etc any members may have. Particularly trying to find collet taper retaining ring if anyone knows where to get one.

Hi. Nice drill. I was going to bid on it also, but I'm on probation right now. Obviously you've been to lathes.uk for the info there.
I think that Ron Mack machinery used to sell these, they may have the part you need in their spares section. 600 Group may also have a line on parts...they sometimes have a used one, so they know the machine. Otherwise, see if lightning strikes twice on eBay. These were sold as Wilton drills in America I believe.
Re manuals...have you checked on Practical Machinist?

Yes hsve looked on practical machinist. Have been given a number for Aust agents for Arboga. Will try that. No offence, but glad you did not bid. Actually a very nice machine.
If i can't get the bit I'll have a go at making one. I think the thread is 2-7/16 inches 20tpi or something like that.
