Baby Linisher/Belt Sander
Hi All,
Thought I'd share this.
I saw this thread on HMEM: https://www.homemodelenginemachinist...inisher.31326/
Here's the machine in question: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Belt-San....c100005.m1851
I'm not normally into cheap Chinese tools, but for the price, this seems like a useful tool to have. Clearly it needs some minor mods to make it useable. It runs 40x686 belts which I haven't been able to find online. Cutting down 50mm belts might be easier than modifying this machine to take 50mm belts as this guy did.
I have a Multitool linisher attachment on a 3 phase GMF grinder, so when I need grunt I have it. But for a lot of my work it's too brutal. It has no work-rest which makes obtaining square edges near impossible.
