Hi all,I have dragged home a new to me 1970 Mossner Rekord SSF 420 Vertical bandsaw and need to know what gear oil to use.
The machine has 2 gearboxs,one conventional 3 speed box and a PIV Stufenlose continuously variable drive to give a wide speed range.1_resized.jpgIMG_0011_resized.jpgIMG_0012_resized.jpg
On page 3 of this thread https://www.practicalmachinist.com/v...andsaw-288303/ it is reccomended to use a CLP220 oil.Does anyone know of an equivalent oil available here?
Does anyone have a copy of the relevant manual?
