Its a cool day here thankfully......now I can get into all those jobs that I regarded too hot to start.....yeh you guessed it.....i didn't start any thing. My idleness got the better of me and I spied my new grease gun that had a broken handle on the plunger from new. I had sourced from Ebay a "TEE" type pull/handle. It has a 10mm female thread while the grease gun has an 8mm male thread. So I need a 10mm male bush with an 8mm female thread. I cut about 20mm of thread from a 10mm bolt then set it in a 10mm ER32 collet . I went to the metal lathe to do the job there but it wouldn't start....ummmm OK then I went to the wood lathe pushed the No2 Morse into the head stock then drilled out to cater for the 8mm thread. Mission accomplished. Just goes to show that you should never give up
