I have a V50 Caterpillar forklift which has a petrol motor which is now going to have a diesel engine transplant.

I have never liked petrol engines in any industrial equipment as far as long term reliability goes.

Just manage to locate a Perkins 4-236 which is a runner , it is fitted to a hydraulic pump and controls for powering a screening plant .

I am going to look it over and if its ok the old engine will be scrapped and this diesel fitted.

It wont be a problem as this machine is old school ,no computers to generate problems.

This one could even be turbo charged at a later date to make it a bit more grunty.
