Youre probably going to need to lay some more info down. Is it a precision part? Does it need to be hand scraped into flatness or will a angle grinder and 5 minutes be good enough. What is the material? How much material off? What is it used for?

Just looking at it, and assuming its steel, CI or some other readily machined metal, your best bet is anyone with a lathe.

Thanks Scott. It's not a precison part. It's for a railing system for sliding doors.

It's cast steel (I think). Got a couple of offers from forum members and the client is going to talk to them directly.

The client is a builder mate of mine and is my supplier of recycled oregon. (he's moving down the coast in the new year so now I have to find another)

    Hi Bleeder,
I'm in Oatley so if he hasn't got anybody to do the job I can.

    Regards,

A big thank you Wheelin, Pipeclay & Keith_W for putting up their hands.

Another thankyou to Keith_W for being able to do the job at such short notice.

You guys show what this forum is all about.

BTW the client is very happy.
