    Default ID please

I recently acquired this when a friend passed away he had bought it only 6 months or so prior.

I know its a cross slide but can anyone enlighten me further please. I have a number of uses for it all ready........ no not bought a machine lathe yet.

The 1st photo has the handle of a H&F cross slide vise just to clarify that.

3rd photo is closet thing I can find doing a search.

Thanks gents is what I figured Azzrock any chance of pics of yours?
Lower section was missing when Peter got it for $40.

Still very usable and one day I may get a lathe to make the bottom half or find one at a sale.

Doesn't matter what it is, what matters is what you can use it for.

    Oddjob1 your right

When Peter brought it down from Coff's after buying it we discussed it at length its uses, see I am into Ornamental Turning as was Peter.

One day i hope to have a Machine lathe and mill.
