Probably not as RARE as the Hercus 260G or DG,the Conquest come up for sale occasionally, you would have to do a google search to find pictures of complete machines, might take a little while to find.
Ok awesome

If it was together it would be selling for well over $2000.00.
WOW that is soo cool although im not gona sell it and im going to try and put it to original condition.

Give 600 Machinery a try. I took this link from an other members post,I DO NOT have one of them.
I got a copy of the parts manual for my Sheraton Conquest (1977 metric model - also ex-Army) from 600 Machinery, 2 Holker Street, NEWINGTON NSW 2127 (PO Box 6505 SILVERWATER DC NSW 1811) p.02-9748-1964. Its been invaluable to me.

Hey Eric was the lathe dissembled for a reason or was it something else?
Just thought I would ask, it was out of curiosity.

Yes I have been a toolmaker for some 35 years, along with other associated trades. This is the current project myself and Steve are undertaking.

Yes you can have the three phase motor also if it's of use to you.

>>>ill probably try and get rid of the rust some how not to sure how and maybe paint some of the parts if i have time<<<

You have a few options with the rust. It's not real bad though. First thing is the good old wire brush and some elbow grease. This will see the worst of it gone. Then there is the option of some 1200 wet and dry emery, or, as a last resource a dip into a phosphoric acid solution.
I'd sick to the former, and I'm sure you'll find it will will come up just fine.

You really shouldn't think like that. Just make the time! Finish the project to the best of your ability and then move on.

that machine looks really complicated, must pretty cool if you do this a job or a hobby.
Is that you operating the machine or is it your friend Steve?

ill probably try some of those and my dad should know alot about on how to get rid of rust easy and efficiently and hes very good with fixing things to so building the lathe should be pretty easy.

Hello Cooper. I’ve just been to your You Tube channel at YouTube - ‪xXvapourXx's Channel‬‏
I must say that it disturbed me somewhat. Firstly your age. You claim to be 20 years old on You Tube, but here you claim to be 14. Why lie about your age? Are you 14 or 20?
I’m really concerned about the area of interest that you show regarding air guns and weapons. I have very strong views on this issue and will not be part of helping you manufacture any such items. If I knew this was the case, I would not have made my initial offer to you.
Around 25 years ago a good friend of mine shot himself dead with a homemade zip gun, and several years after that, another guy I knew well got locked up for 18 months for making and being in possession of such a device.
You are going down a bad path here and I won’t be part of it with my offer. Even your latest channel subscription is to a video relating to homemade guns.

Yea I Dont like making spud guns any more that was of the past and yes im 14 and my friend made my account and made the age 20. im starting to get into Stirling engines and making other things so dont think of me as a bad person and I stopped after hearing all the stories of home-made guns so yea and I am 14 not 20. I tried to change the age when I first got my you tube account but I cant. Im also going to try and make things for my friends since they ride scooters I might be able to make pegs
I hope you dont think of me as a bad person just because I like guns but i dont build them any more because of the things that happen and what can happen, Also im not sure if you still want me to have your lathe but dose it matter on when we call you because my Dad is still trying to sort things out to going to Melbourne.
I forgot mention that i hope to use the lathe if i get it to help my dad with building a car, for stuff that is to small i can bore it out and stuff like that so ill probably make a video on that.
