no i didn't know. i never heard of any one talk about india made lathe . are they made good lathe ?

Hi Peter,
In my experience small Indian lathes are pretty crappy, larger ones are generally copies of English designs and are good to excellent.

I just call the engineer friend , he reckon the Indian lathes are no good , so may be he was reffer to the small one like you said ?
