Lever Dial Indicator
I am after a Metric lever type dial indicator that has the lever perpendicular to the body of the indicator. I want to be able to have the face of the indicator facing upwards while finding the centre of a hole on my milling machine. I have seen a pic of one but can't seem to find one to buy. Does anyone know where I can get one from?
I have got a pdf file for the Measumax range and one in that(34-128)
seems to be capable of it but the business I ordered it from says no. I have searched for a Mitutoyo model, but can't find one either. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I had a look at their site, but couldn't see any like that. Sent them an email and will see what they say.

Hi Sterob,
My TESATAST Dial Indicator can perform that task. It has 25mm Dial and reads 0.01mm increments. TESA is the brand name, I think they are a Swiss company.
The deflection lever can be moved through an arc of approx 250 degrees so a 90 degree bend reletive to the clock face is no problem. The levers come in different lengths and can be interchanged according to the depth you may be measuring.
I do know that it was expensive to buy (25 years ago) and I have had it serviced once (cost $70) but it has been worth the cost.
"Google" TESA and see what comes up?
Regards,
Gary.
