Default Machine inspection again (Melbourne location)

Anyone with grinder knowledge near Strathmore in Melbourne? I've spotted one and while not 100% sure I need it, it has me interested enough to want to know more. I sent a message to the seller but it's another one of those "It belonged to my [insert relation here] and I don't know much about it...", so no hint on condition, capacity or anything.

It must be the month for it! I guess they say these things come in 3's.

Now what could it be.......i guess we'll wait and see. Hopefully the outcome is as good for you as it was for RC and I.

Oh, and of course you "need" it, just like i "needed" a 5th lathe.....

I don't want to give too much detail because this is an open forum and you never know who is lurking. I'll use a PM for that.
However, this is not a pedestal grinder or something as straightforward like that. There are slide ways involved so I would like someone who knows what they are looking at and can make a call on treasure or trash (restoration is no problem, but it needs to be worth doing).

    G'day Michael,
If not already sorted, I'd be happy to have a look and take some photos for you.
Shoot me a PM if needed.
    Cheers,
    Greg.

It's a private sale, so I can't see why not.

I'm pretty sure thats the Thomson out of Diecraft in Reservoir. I had a phone call about that last year, I could have had it for nothing, provided I removed it. I figured it would take a week and $20k to get it out of there.
