    I would go for the hammer or hammertone finish, it can be had in green, blue, grey etc. Used mainly for machinery, tools and the like. Easy to brush on for a professional finish.

    Howdy,

    Just been doing this funnily enough

    A White Knight one pack epoxy. Available from a huge green warehouse near you.

    Still have not done the carriage, I have remove it to pull down to tighten it all up.

    Default Hammertone

    Thanks Pedro,

    Not too keen on the hammertone look. I personaly think that a normal finish would look better on the lathe.
