Default Last minute push for classical japanese metalwork book

I'm not sure if this goes against the rules of the forums, but i thought this was a good thing to show off on here in case anyone is interested in jewelry, metalwork or japanese art history and its techniques.

If enough funding can be raised to go ahead with publishing it'll be the only comprehensive major text (in any language) on the practical approach to traditional Japanese metalwork and patination in the world, and will contain more information as a whole than any other known single text ever written.

We need less than $1000 more to make it happen, so i'm helping out with a last minute push to get as many interested people to know about it as possible in case anyone might like to invest a little bit to secure themselves a copy of the book when it is written.

Hi Fudo133, I'm surprised that no-one has commented on your post so far. I had a look and saw that it was basically about 'crowd funding' a book, and then went on to look at the youtube video of the author doing some of his work and the techniques involved which will be part of the subject of the book. That video can be seen here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...by-ford-hallam and I would like to thank you for posting, as I found his work absolutely fascinating and to an extremely high standard. I think that nearly everyone on this forum would find the same, and I recommend that everyone check it out. Thanks again,
    Rob.
