Enough of the horror stories with poorly made consumable tooling.
Tell us about the good stuff you have purchased and who made it and who sold it.
Hopefully with what follows, may end up in a search down the road a bit, when a newbie searches for some decent tooling and may help.
As I have stated I like Capital taps and dies as I have had no problems with them and they are Ausee made.
I am also partial to Alpha gold series 135° 4 facet split point drills made in Europe and quite reasonable for what they are. Both brands were suggested to me by Whitelaw tooling in Mackay.
