    Default Oiler Plans

I spotted Michael G's brass drip oilers, he made for his grinder .

I need to make two for my Visby lathe . I cannot find any drawings or plans for these oilers .

Does anybody have the basic plans or drawings ?

    Mike,
Are you not tempted to buy oilers?
In case you haven't seen it, here is the first example that comes to mind.
look up: Ebay> 'The Engineers Shop' > or > 3415len > oilers brass.

    cheers,
    A.

Very real reason for spelling out ANZAC. HAUSER, That would be exactly as its spelt out on the machine label. Being German and all.

Your conection with HAUSER, and Stuart's mention off it, and your original SHOUTING, thats really rude.

I think you are over reacting to a innocent remark . It has nothing whatever to do with "mates"

What's wrong with capitals as a title anyway ? Many books have capital letter titles don't they ?

I hate pedantic forum moderators . I left a UK forum because the moderator was always correcting and whinging about my punctuation marks . I called him a pedantic English public school snob .

When I joined this forum I posted a thread in coloured text, I was pounced on like a tiger . Gees , is there any freedom of expression left on this planet or have the red tape brigade taken over the whole world .

Wow, who's over reacting here????? Not Phil me thinks!

From the Forum Rules (you did agree to them when you joined)

Continued use of capital letters and oversized fonts is not acceptable.
Using capitals like THIS to highlight a specific word is acceptable, but sometimes it's better to use bold like this to highlight a word or get a point across.

USING CAPS LIKE THIS FOR AN ENTIRE POST ISN'T ACCEPTABLE- THIS ALSO ISN'T ACCEPTABLE, BECAUSE THEY'RE BOTH CONSIDERED TO BE SHOUTING
and is poor Forums etiquette. Posts made entirely in capitals are hard for many people to read and may be deleted.

If you would like to refresh your memory of the forum rules, please do so, and pay particular attention to the bit about abusing Admins and Moderators.

    Have a good day.

No! I think you just went off to find another example. How did you turn up 2013?

I have no idea, other than when you had the smallest touch up by a moderator, you went to the trouble of finding a thread by Stu, back in 2013, that had Caps. HAUSER is how is spelt on that machine.

Simple matter of fact, Dont frame a Q here in CAPS.

Its shouthing at best, or "look at me"

"Stustoys did it Mike." I'll chip in and pay for a full stop....

    Regard's Phil.

    Hi Phil,

Better get your facts right before playing the easily offended.

The factory of "Henri Hauser AG" for machine tools and optical instruments was located in Biel, in the Kanton of Berne, in Switzerland. As a Swiss/Australian double citizen I could be entitled to feel offended, if you call that "being German and all". Then again, how could you know about such cultural finesses.

    Chris

PS: here the Hauser company history. Not the best translation using "google translate". But helpful to understand the history. I believe at the end, the American Hardinge did buy HTT (Hauser/Tripet/Tschudin):
