Do Avery make an aluminium label for an ink jet printer, don't have a laser unit?

Edit: the silver labels all seem to be around the $90 mark retail in Aus. However I found the labels for $56 here (plus $7 delivery) Seems to be the best price.

If you don't need a full page label, then some of the smaller sizes may come in cheaper. L6012 is 10 per page. They go all the way up to 180 odd labels per page at 25mmx10mm each. Doesn't look like you can get the silver labels in 4 pages per sheet, which would be a more appropriate size for the OP's box.

If you don't mind a white background, Avery do the same heavy duty labels in white background in a much greater range of sizes, including 4 per page. These may be more readily available in AUS.

From memory Ken (with no guarantee or reliability) you are thinking of Fabulon, an ironing aid/fabric conditioner/ spray starch product in a trigger pack, and it sounds like it is time for you to pull your socks up and smarten up your act! Doesn't iron his shirts, what next, won't wear a tie to dinner I suppose.

    Hi Ken,

I'm not sure. If lack of a laser printer is all that is holding you up, I'm happy to do the printing for you. We have a colour laser printer at work. Send me a label (if you end up buying them) and email me your artwork and I'll print them and post them back to you.

Failing that, as PC suggested, printing and then laminating labels also works well. Once again I can help with that. You would just need to email me the artwork. We have a laminator and laminating pouches at work ready to go. It would be a good cost free way to see if you like it.

    Cheers,

    Simon

Simonl, I'll be in touch once the artwork is done.

Ropetangler, I certainly have smartened up my act. I'd much rather be mucking around with engineering stuff than ironing shirts
Polo shirts are the go, throw the steam iron away and use the other iron, for turning.

    Or, just get married!

Oh come on I'm just kidding. My work uniform needs to be ironed all the time (although my boss sometimes accuses me of ironing my shirt with a brick!) needless to say, I use the iron the most in our house.

Anyway, back on topic, No worries Ken just contact me when your ready. Unlike most of the stuff in my shed, I'll aim for a quick turnaround!

    Simonl,

    Married, married.......???? OMG
Since being free of females, I've never been happier. A few blisters on my hands is neither here or there!

Who else can have a work bench and a Unimat 3 lathe in the front room?
Who else can have a vintage Singer leather sewing machine in the front room?
Who else can have 99% of a Hercus lathe carefully stored in a spare room? The bed is covered out on the balcony.

Who else can not iron sheets, pillow cases, hankies?
Who else has spare dosh for blowing on CTC Tools and the like?

Yep, you guessed right, eat your heart out.

    Will be in touch

Yep, you had me convinced……. until I saw this. Now I'm thinking of gimp suites from Pulp Fiction. What other forums are you on?
