    Default Quick change tool post

I would like some help in choosing a quick change tool post, for my SSB-11 BUK lathe a 12x24 model, there seems to be so many to choose from ,and I know this subject as been mentioned before, but I am totaly confused by the many different types ,and think that the tool post on the lathe might be a problem ,,so I have sketched what the tool post looks like and given the sizes as below ,would appreciate some help ,although I have had the lathe since new,I am fed up with chasing
the right center height every time I change a tool, really looking for the easy life.

The critical dimension for selecting a QCTP is the distance from the centre of the lathe to the top of the cross slide (see attached). There is a chance you will need to make up a new one or modify the existing toolpost bolt. It's usually not difficult to do.

    Have a read through this:

Not suggesting you buy from these people, as the same stuff can be bought alot cheaper from the US, but it gives you a guide on how to choose one.

As stated before, a little modifying will always be required, to get them to fix your particular lathe, but it should not be hard.

Nope cheap as chips from CDCO in the US. As an example, tool holders here are around $53 each ( i think ) but same thing from CDCO is about $9.
