Things you may not know about reamers.
Hi Guys and girls.
I have been inside catching up on some reading online due to the heat in the shed today and came across this page on reamers..
Now I realise most of you know the info provided, But some of you may not so I figured it was worth posting.
Even though I thought I knew it all I still picked up on a few things I didn't know..

HI,
Thanks Matt that is a good Link. Something I Read about Adjustable Reamers Years ago that I have done a number of Times when making Bushes etc. Is that an Adjustable can be used as a Expanding Lathe Mandrel to hold the inside of ie a Bush whilst the Outside is turned down to size. Obviously only light Cuts can be taken other wise if the Work Piece should grab and rotate on the Reamer either the Bush and/or the Reamer will be Damaged. All The Best steran50 Stewart
The shortest way to do many things is to do only one thing at once.
