I purchased this 450mm shaper at a local auction yesterday.

It needs a good clean and naturally the vise has gone missing but I'm happy to have it.

I will be transporting it home on a hiab truck. It is on a pallet so easy to load with a fork lift. I'm just not sure about the best way to sling it for removal. High center of gravity etc.

There may be enough room to sling under the casting at the front under the ram and there are some substantial pins screwed in the back end.
Too risky to sling under these? Or sling from the bottom and firmly lash slings tight around machine.

I don't have a manual so I would appreciate any comments re safe lifting.
