I went Tuesday. Plenty of cool machines to look at. Lots of 5 axis machining centres doing demos.

I was there all day Tuesday 10 - 6. Surprised I didn't bump into you.
I'm thinking about heading in again tonight. I've got an invite for a free booze up after it closes at 8.00
I'll be going in again tomorrow (Fri), for most of the day. And theres a chance I'll get involved extracting a machine over the weekend.
Phil.

Very disappointing
Sorry guys, I went today, and was thoroughly disappointed.
Out of one hundred or so machines, less than a hand full were doing anything.
Gone seem to be the days when a machine would punch out and fold up an aluminium pencil case in thirty seconds as give-a-ways.
No freebies this time.
I did find a stand that specialized in coatings for metal, of particular interest was a nice matt black coating on something that was not aluminium.
In broken Chinese, a young lass asked me "what you won't?" My reply was "sorry, I can't understand you, I want something to stop steel parts from rusting".
"rusting, what is rusting?"
At that point, I gave up.
Maybe next year?

The Show.
Hi All,
Yes, I went Tues. quite impressed, not to many Demos, Yes, I found their English hopeless,
Did get 2 Freebies, 1 was a pen with my name on it, but used to get a Brass tag for my Car Key Ring. So I have 4, & that means 8yrs. I've been going. 10 yrs. now.
I half pestered the Water Cutting People for a Allum. Bike, & surprisingly was given 1 that was a bit rough, but it is a bike for an old bikey.
Had a great day for a whisker over $10. $5+ for the train, & tram, 5 for a Latte.
Actually meant to wear my WW F ID but I forgot.Regards,
issatree.

I wonder why , especially in this day and age when you can even buy glasses that can take pictures and movies..
