Could not be more simple, a washer.

Greg had posted a thread in the Projects area about printing a nose protector for his Hercus 260 - Printed Spindle nose cover and I had said that I'd make a spacer for my protector/ejector to facilitate the removal of a collet chuck I like using. The ejector's intended role was to remove the 3C adaptor that Hercus offered for 9" lathe and protect the nose threads.

I had thought of using a forked plastic glazing block but it would have entailed milling the slot in the fork a few millimetres wider to slip around the exposed end of the ER25 chuck's 2 Morse arbor. Then I thought about making a slot in a piece of aluminium flat bar but then I found a washer.....

Thanks for the motivation Greg.
