The final piece in the puzzle got done this afternoon.. I am going to be up half the night waiting for it to dry enough to finish it...

The grinder foundations should be dry enough now to take it's weight...

Would not surprise me if the 16 footer has been off loaded in France, as the ship is now going the wrong way...

So how does one go about leveling a machine with 16+(I assume there are more then 8 on the other side) mounting points?

With great difficulty when by yourself and half your workshop gear is out of commission..

I need to make some round straight bar to make a levelling tool... Of course all my equipment got moved out to install the grinder.. Now none of my equipment is within range of a three phase power point... The walls for the new room for the equipment has not been started yet, so the equipment can not be shifted down there, although it probably will be.... On top of that it is winter and it is cold and I hate winter.

I need a magic wand to wave get everything done... Or I need some extra days in the week to get time to get everything done..

Make sure you get one with the extra option that auto-expands the shed by 25% and lend it to me when you're done with it.

lol yeah two people can really help, when we moved Phil's plate for one of the classes I was say to BobL I believe, "leveling these up takes ages" two guys and two levels and it takes about 5 minutes if that.

I know, get a wireless ip camera, a wireless router and a tablet and you can read levels remotely!

In other news I made up a levelling tool to level the grinder...

One mishap happened when making it and I am sure Stuart will be along shortly with his superpowers to point it out..

Couple of things I could have done better on it, but it is of no consequence with regards to how it works..

You need one of these next. https://us.bigkaiser.com/products/ac...el-master.html

They beep when they hit level, so you can be down on your knees tweaking the jack. No helper required.

    Regards Phil.

But how do you know which way to go?(thought the colored lights would be easy enough to read in a mirror)

Doesn't anyone like the camera idea? lol(having said that I havent tried it... maybe the bubble wont show up that well.... I'll set one up and check)

So do you start at one end and work towards the other or start in the middle?(or doesnt it matter much as you'll be going around a few times?)
