Spline Spanner
Following a discussion about spline spanners for the RF-45 type Mills, on a Yahoo group I frequent, I decided I would have a go at making one. I have wanted one since I bought the mill ( about a year ago) so this was a good time to try.
A guy is selling CNC cut spanners on Ebay rather cheaply, but there's no fun in buying them, is there?!!
I don't think I would have contemplated doing this if I did not have a rotary table, although it probably be made without one.
I can't believe how many times I have used the RT since I bought it.....quite amazing.
Anyway, here's a couple of pics.

Why not just use a standard spanner or socket on the drawbar? Is the spline spanner a lock so you can undo the drawbar?
BTW nicely done. I have used my RT exactly zeroCheers
