    Default Tap Magic online ?

    Hello All
I'm after 1 bottle(472l)of Tapmagic Xtra-Thick. Both the main Australian agents Industrailtool.com and pretooling.com are out of stock and the next shipment from the U.S. in mid November.
That goes for Blackwoods as well.
Can anyone suggest an Australian or US website that sells it in single bottle shipments. Some of the US sites I went on sell only minimum of 6 bottles and others don't ship internationally.

I'm cutting some woodruff keyways into 4140 shafting and the $160 hss Sutton Woodruff cutter keeps dulling, no matter how light I feed it in my RF-45 mill.
I've never used Tapmagic before but according to the blurb on the Tapmagic site the Xtra-Thick stuff should help.

    TIA
    Dave

Boltmasters had it on the shelf at a fairly good price for up here.

    Hi,
Just for interest, what other cutting oils etc have you tried. I have never tried TapMagic but use (among other oils etc) Rocol RTD and generally have no major problems cutting 4140.
Be careful not to cut to lightly as that may exacerbate the dulling of the cutter, difficulty of cutting and cutter wear depends also on the supplied temper of your shafting.
Hope to hear how the TapMagic works for you when you get it, hopefully as a comparison to any other stuff you tried also.

    Cheers.
If I'm not right, then I'm wrong, I'll just go bend some more bananas.
