Default Tell me what I can use this for?

or why I should grab it.
My brother picked this up from the side of the road during a council clean up. It looks like its a drill press adapter for a hand drll that someone has put a bit of time into making. Has a bit of flight rust but would clean up ok.
My problem is I no longer have room to store this sort of cra ---- aah, good stuff, in the hope that I might find a use for it one day. I'm trying really hard to say no but old habits are hard to break.
So, any suggestions as to what it could be adapted to etc. I have a drill press so wouldn't use it for that. I dont tap enough holes to warrant the effort to convert it to a tapping gizmo.
    So?

The upright, the base and the handle all look to be solid straight/ flat bits of steel. Bound to be good to turn into something else.

I made one somthing like this quite a few years ago. It is a bit more complex tho. It has 2 uprights made from a rack about 30mm square and is driven by a gear. The last thing it was used for was capping home brew bottles of cider. It is a bit heavy for convenience tho.

You could use it to swing billy cans and pots over an open fire. Even weld a hot plat or grill onto one of the arms.

It looks like a home made drill press for an old electric drill. Toss it out.

Space I too short to store useless crap.

Make it into a pen press.

Default Make it a DIY clone EDGE PRO knife sharpener

Turn it into a knife sharpening station or a hand tapping stand
