It's not just a matter of turning it down some sort of keyway or other locking arrangement will be needed. 3HP and a grub screw may not old all that well.

I would never use a grub screw, I would be cutting a key way as per original.

Ok, I'm starting to think a 90 frame motor would be the best place to start. I don't think there is a true bolt in solution out there.
The drill press has provision for the 165mm PCD, there is actually markings on the casting. I will just need to drill and tap.
Then the shaft will need to be machined to 19mm and a key way cut.

If you find a suitable motor but need the shaft turned down and a keyway done, I will be happy to help you out. Edit: I had to do a similar thing when I converted my mill to VFD with a 3 ph motor. Simon
Girl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.
