New to me Waldown needs work.
I just bought this drill press this morning.
I bought it for parts (a couple of pulleys I need for a very nice 8SN) but I am beginning to think I should fix it up. It looks a far more capable machine than the 8SN.
The casting says it is a 2M but the badge says it is a 3M and it does indeed have a #3MT. Can anybody explain that anomaly?

The only thing obviously broken so far is the return spring. I assume that Brobo will have this part for a small fortune.
I am hoping I can find someone on the forums with the skills to fix the bits missing from the table for a reasonable price (I certainly don't). I read somewhere that Anorak Bob paid $400 for a new one. I am would like to avoid that.
And why did someone in the distant past spray it with silver paint? It looks hideous.
