A while ago I acquired an old Parkanson 6"×6" 3 phase power hacksaw. After a bit of tinkering, new pulley for the coolant pump, some castors for moving it around and a few new belts I have got it running well and cutting straight. It now just needs a good clean and some coolant and it's good to go. One bit of info I have not been able to locate is what type of oil to use to lubricate the various slide and rotating mechanisms. The model plate mentions that only Caltex Rando G oil should used, and as far as my Googling has gone I can't find any details on the old Caltex lubricants and what the modern equivalents would be. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
