Also just to let you know getting the credentials to remove asbestos is a few hour long online course, nothing a joe blog off the street can't attain.[/QUOTE]
this is incorrect- my asbestos removal ticket was a three day course, with practical examination and two spot checks on the first two removal jobs that I did. Certainly not a one hour online course.

Well that's a little more reassuring give how dangerous it can be if not removed properly. Thanks for posting.

As a matter of curiosity, did they go into any detail about invisible dust, why it's doubly dangerous, and why you need to continue wearing a mask after finishing with the vac (presuming they advocated using a vac)? The guy that was here had done a 3 day course, and clearly knew nil about, shall we say, the "finer" points of dust, or how and why vacs can leak. He didn't even know what the "H" was for (thought it was for Hepa, not for Hazardous)

My blue card was also a couple of hours online. It is only for removal of, I can't remember, but around 10m² of non-friable asbestos. To be honest, I don't want anything to do with the friable stuff. That's the real nasty stuff .
Those were the droids I was looking for.
