Yeah… could be a diamond cutting wheel; however he’s “cutting” MDF with it with no dust extraction.

Regardless of what the blade is there’s a whole lot of stoopid using it. My Triton Series 2000 has the adjustable bevel fence thingy that can achieve the same purpose… while still allowing the use of the blade guard; dust extraction (not the best but some at least!) and the mitre gauge as a pushstick. No need for a safety Band-Aid; my fingers wouldn’t be close enough to the blade to require such an extreme level of PPE…

What really pisses me off is that this sort of c$ap gets millions of views. Yet content providers who offer very sound advice from years of injury free professional experience struggle to build a significant following.

The world has gone mad - the brainless masses celebrate idiots and make celebrities out of them, while billionaires rake in more money from their social media platforms serving up this c$ap. Just look at "reality" (scripted drama????) TV, world politics ...

Now, where do I get one of those spindle extender thingies. I wonder what tooth count blade he is using? Ultra Fine Finish? Oops, damn thinking out loud again.

He's getting a really nice finish and the bevel looks consistent on all four sides, I bet he can turn out quite a few of those per day, he must be coining it in.

He could be a serious contender for a Darwin Award for stupidity

It was hard to watch but I think the real hard bit is that is what the poor guy has to do to earn a living. He likely has no choice if he wants to eat. Place looks more like a commercial shop than just a home woodworker doing his thing.

I clicked on their Instagram page and from the posts they've made it seems they are a commercial Furniture and Fitout company based in Iran and make some nice pieces.

H&S will not be the same in Iran and they will probably think what they do is normal practice, so they can lose fingers at work where they can earn enough money to buy a loaf of bread or they don't work and steal food and lose an hand if they get caught.
