What I've been working on while away from WWF
The missus and I have been working on this project for the past 11 years. Just before Christmas we got this.

Needless to say we are very pleased.Innovations are those useful things that, by dint of chance, manage to survive the stupidity and destructive tendencies inherent in human nature.

Thanks Matt, still a lot to do but this one was a major milepost.
If you're inclined here's the text of the application on-line. https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2017184767A1/enInnovations are those useful things that, by dint of chance, manage to survive the stupidity and destructive tendencies inherent in human nature.

Hi Chris, Thanks. This thing is the allowance, in otherwords they've decided that our application merits a patent. The next step is to pay them an additional $500, then they 'issue' the patent. We'll then get a certificate with a seal from the Patent Office and along with it our 'patent rights' under the law. Reminds me of this: https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/n...naparte_108401

I hope it all works out to plan Rob, I have been on the losing end of a patent dispute and finished up just walking away as they had more money than me and made that quite clear at the time.

Fortunately we're not involved in a dispute. We've learned the hard way that if something genuinely new is presented it's an up hill battle to get it accepted in every venue, now to convince the others...

Excellent Rob.
I am sure you are relieved on a number of fronts including the fact that the project is coming to fruition.
I am pleased for you and the fact that in some time in the future we could see you participating on the Forum a little more.
We've missed your input. 2019 is looking good.

Thanks, Paul and Matt. I'm really wanting to get back to this stuff, feeling pretty exhausted ATM.
