    Default milk on her head

    Guys
Last night my 4 year old girl comes up, prime possum has gone to bed so she wants her pink milk(strawberry quick) and go to bed herself.
Not a problem ,poor dad in the kitchen making her a pink milk gently warmed to blood temperature in the microwave 2 teaspoons of pink powder and wolla pink milk ready for my angel.
Clumsy dad bumps cup with pink milk and it poors all over 4 year old angel ,floor and kitchen bench.
My angel commenced to scream not that it was hot milk just that dad wasted her lovely drink.
Poor dad i then had to give her a bath ,new pyjamas and another pink milk before bed whilst wife and step daughter were both laughing there heads off.
It is somthing i will remember for a long time and hopfully elizabeth (my angel) will be able to tell her children one day about it

    Best wishes

I'm glad yours pays attention to the Prime Possum. Mine tells it nigh' nigh' and keeps on going.

    Dan

PS. I doubt most here would know what the prime possum is.
Is there anything easier done than said?

    Hi Dan

Prime possum is the best thing invented for parents to have some quiet time.
Before i was married a mate i worked with had a tape of prime possum and if he wanted the kids to go to bed early he put possum on
    That is low:eek:

My 2 reckon Prime Possum is silly for going to bed when it's just dark, and Big Dog, well he's just as dumb, and "what sorta dog is that anyway Dad?".
    Routine goes something like this

8.00pm I state "time for bed kids"

Kids usually reply "Kayses'(8 yr old) reading us a book
I reply "ok when it's finished do your teeth & hop in bed"

9.00pm I look up thinking 'crikey they're not in bed yet' at which either 1 of 2 things has happened (a) they're in bed little guy snoozin' big sister reading by lamplight or just as likely (b) "dad we've been waiting for you and you're too slow"

Both are pretty good about it and they wake up at 7.00-7.30am every morning bright eyed and full of beans

Thank goodness mine are too young to care! It is only on very naughty nights that they are up anywhere near late enough to even see Bakana Bilby or Yamba go to bed, they are normally both in bed at 6:30pm.

    I know, I know, it won't last..........
