Default 17-2-12 A Slimline This Time

Because the kits Barry ordered didn't turn up in time we had to resort to the old backup stock and make a Slimline pen in Black Enamel and it is dressed in Brazilian Walnut timber which we think came up well considering.

Nice work timbo very nice pen BUT I have to say I am not a fan of the way the centreband area is done. I think it could have been done with a streamline CB or even a comfort CB it just seems to thick but that is just my opinion only and as we cater to everyone so nice work

Cheers Ian

I tell you what you've done a very good job of tapering just the nib end of the pen, if that was the effect you were after then that is a pretty good eye.

Its turned down nicely to rounded ends around the centreband but I am inclined to agree with Dorno that a streamline might have set it off better. Still it's unique Well done

There are many ways of making a pen different and indeed every pen is unique to some degree, even when you try to duplicate a batch of pens, they are never exactly the same.
What you have done here is created a pen that is quite unique. I think we have all tried that kind of design in our pen making experiments and like it or hate it, it is a pen with its own individuality. Personal tastes differ about such radical design but you have done a pretty good job on your pen.
