Default 2 from a few days ago

i did these 2 a few days ago ,i think i posted 1 on here but the post got eaten when the site chucked a wobbly.
one is a gold knight pen with huon with 2 cedar bands cut in at 45 degrees.
the other is a gold longwood click pen also huon pine with red cedar knot and bands.
i have been doing my celtic knots at 60 deg but because of the longer barrel on this kit i thought i would stretch the knot out a little bit more so i cut it at almost 70 deg , probably about 68 i think and i added the 2 bands to use up some more of the free space in the pine .
both are finished blo/ca to a dull sheen ill call it satin.

Great looking group of Writing Instruments.
Fit and finish look great with a nice contrast of timbers.
I like the knot cut at 70 degrees, look better stretched out.
