Finally got a chance to dig out the camera.

There's so much good stuff to play with .. I don't know what to turn first. You might
be used to these woods, but we don't get a lot of 'snottygobble' around here.

and two beautiful pens .. I'll need to get some stands for them so I can display them.
Maybe I can make one out of the birdseye jarrah!

    Thanks, Jen!

Update.. Jen also sent me some info on the woods in the package. Looks like she cut
down her parent's fence just to make me a pen! The black ti/rhodium Elegant Beauty
is made of Red Mallee Burl and the copper/black ti Beauty (I love this combination) is
made of Mulga, which I had never heard of before.

The swapper in question will, I am certain, be thrilled with the resulting efforts of said swappee. In turn, the swappee should be aware the swapper (me) has sent off a small parcel with swappees name on it. Keep a lookout for it. Hope ya likes it.

    Default 2010 Pen Swap

I received 2 beautiful pens today from Sawdust Maker, a Lace Sheoak Cigar pen with a dipped lacquer finish with very impressive depth, and a very impressive Tiger Myrtle streamline. Very well done Nick!! Also some very nice pen blanks that are very uncommon here. Thanks Nick and all the folks on the forum who made this swap possible. I'm having trouble figuring out how to get the right files posted, I'm new to using a mac and haven't quite got it figured out. I think I have a picture attached? Again thanks all, Ed

Default Great pens from my swap partner

I received these two beauties in the mail yesterday. Sorry for the pics. These are really great. I especially like the black with white swirl pen. Great finish on these. Thanks to Rob Lackie (Fireguard). Keep up the good work Rob. I'll enjoy seeing more pens from you on this site. Thanks to those who made the swap possible.

Talking Received a Beauty from Stephen Mash

My Australia Day pen swap partner, Stephen Mash, made an Elegant Beauty that really lives up to it's name. As if the pen wasn't awesome enough, Stephen included four extraordinary blanks in the package as well. Thank You Stephen. This pen will be proudly displayed. I'll let you know when your package ships. I may have to up my efforts to make this a comparable swap.

My photography skills leave a lot to be desired. Any small white spots seen on the pen is the fault of my photography and is not really on the pen itself.

The fit and finish on this pen is perfect, I just hope that my pen lives up to this standard.

Thanks Alan (arjudy) its a wonderful pen.

Well after a few very hectic weeks at work resulting in limited time and then a couple of blow outs when I finally got in to the shed I have just posted off my package to Mr Vic in Colorado. Hopefully in 3-10 days it will arrive safely without any interference from Customs...
