2010 Slimline Challenge
Welcome to the Inaugural
WWF Slimline Challenge 2010

The Challenge will be open for entries
from
1st October 2010 - 31st October 2010
Early or late entries will not be accepted.
There will be only ONE entry per participant
Pens can only be made from SLIMLINE kit manufactured parts, as well as parts made by the participant.
Both Slimline Ballpoint (Cross refill) and Slimline Pencil kits are eligible, only parts from one kit can be used.
Entries must be original work by the entrant and not previously shown on this or other forums.
Entries must include the following information
• Username
• Material the pen is made from
• Type of Finish
If any of this information is missing the entry will be disqualified
A maximum of 3 photos of the single entry pen are allowed.
Photos not to exceed 150Kb and 800x600pixels in size.
All photos are to be on a plain or neutral background
with no features identifying the pen maker.
(ie if you use a particular prop or background that would identify you as the maker, you can't use it)
Entries to be emailed to
[email protected]
Until Judging is completed, all Entries will be anonymous, and each entry will be displayed with an Entry Number.
Entrants will receive an acknowledgment with their Entry Number.
If no acknowledgment is emailed back to you, we haven't received your entry.
In this case, please contact the Organiser MBUMIK
Voting will start on
1st November 2010
and close on
21st November 2010
Voting will be by Poll on the forum as well as 1 or more independent judges.
Points will be 50% from the Poll, 50% from the independent judge(s)
The combined Judge/Poll results will be final and
no correspondence will be entered into.
Highest aggregate score wins:

Jerry you are most welcome to enter, overseas people were one of the reasons why i didn't want to have a prize due to the expense of potage, australian postage is very expensive

Regardless who wins or how good the pens are, this is what life should be about. Jerry calling himself a yank and wanting to be a part of our stuff. I'm sure that lots of you have done the same in reverse, I hope to in the future.

this should not put off the begginers either you never know what will take the judges eye
i won't say who the judges are (might lead to bribery), but they are not necessarily wood turners, great cross section of the wood working community
