My 2017 IAP Freestyle Casting Entry
Violin Music Pen - 3rd Place
Made using the ingredients shown in the first pickie
The first 4 pickies are the required photos to enter the competition
unfortunately only 1 pickie of the blank precast was allowed and as you can see from the second group of 4 pickies, the blank is different all the way around
The out line of the Violin/Chello/Bass (they are all the same shape just a different size) and all of the notes are made from copper wire that was bent to shape by me and my trusty set of jewelers pliers
There is a Treble Clef and a Bass Clef in the mix as well
My prize for 3rd place is being donated to someone who makes pens for Charity

Three in one ,I love the design, Beautiful pictures, Detailed outlines of progress.
Then the perfection in turning.
The result is superb.

PS. Recently on TV there was a discussion of the use of swimwear eg the Sharkskin Suit (took an hour to put on etc), then banned. Well your approach is minimal and clean , no need for the bolstering or the Hoo Haa, just clean outstanding technique.Nil Desperandum

i entered the competition for the fun of it, not for the prize, the majority of which would have been taken up in postage fees anyway
