3000 yr old HUON PINE BURL
Blew the dust of my New Guinea Spider Shell just the carrier for this pen changed the design and here it is.

A lovely pen on an unusual but very clever "prop".
It would be interesting to repeat the photo with a darker background, maybe a darkish blue to better show off both the pen and the shell.
Either way, a great job all round.

Peter, a lovely peice of Huon and a nicely finished pen masterfully displayed. I would love to have seen that timber on a rollerball or fountain pen in a gold finish.
