30th Wedding Anniversary Pen
Made this Sierra Majestic Chrome & Gold Titanium from GPW with Abalone Shell for my beloved to celebrate our 30th (Pearl) wedding anniversary.
I've made a few Sierras' lately and am impressed with this one. The Swarovski crystal is a nice touch.
Photo only taken by camera.

What a beautiful gift! The colours work so well, and it's so nicely turned I'm sure your lady'll love it.

Well done on that one, I am sure that SWMBO will be as pleased as punch and happy 30th anniversary to you both.

Thanks everyone!
Love the colours also, was getting concerned about breaking through into the MOP.
Suffered a small chip out on one end whilst turning, thankfully only the one. (Now hidden under the clip!)

30 years is the pearl anniversary. I gave SWMBO a packet of pearl barley. Does abalone shell equate to mother of pearl?

Tankstand - sorry it's off topic, but I can't post on the original thread, did you ever manage to get the compound angles chart for the Huron milling machine? I know it's going back a while but I've been searching everywhere and this is one of he few leads I can find.
Cheers

Having passed the 30 yr introductory trial and settling in to our 62nd year of marriage I figured your present is so appropriate and well made. Congratulations you two and thanks for sharing.
