    Nice blank there mate and a good finish.

    Are you using bushes to turn your blanks to size? It looks as if you have
    taken too much material off the nib end near the centre band.
    Using bushes to turn down to size will solve this problem.

    If indeed at that point I overdid it, I should remove less material.
